Notes: What do you think your ideal self would be? Would it be a fantastic epic full of adventure that would melt the heart or a terrible piece of sentimental drivel that even a third rate author would scoff at?

BG Notes: The first thing that I focused on was that I wanted a sweeter, lighter drink than Andersen himself, but still keep a tang of bitterness so it didn't get too sweet. Gin was an easy choice as it's a bit of an acquired taste just like Andersen, and I actually fiddled around with the other options quite a bit before I settled on these. I didn't want to reply on Pernod since I plan to use that in my Andersen drink, but surprisingly the amaretto filled in the gaps between gin and Hpnotiq quite nicely which was a bit surprising.
